In many cases I'm seeing a "*" (asterisk) that sits in front of the
template name of a page in the properties description.
What's the meaning of this?

Hi Chris,
if I recall correctly that was used for xmlpages, when more than one body element (WYSIWYG area) was defined, to tell OpenCms, which should be used as default.
I guess this was OpenCms 6 time, right?
